Wells Fargo Plans To Unleash Google's Agentic AI Bank-wide

Wells Fargo is rolling out generative AI and agentic AI tools from Google Cloud, including Gemini Deep Research and NotebookLM, to all 215,000 employees, making it an early adopter of Google’s Agentspace platform. The initiative builds on prior AI collaborations, such as the Fargo virtual assistant, and aims to boost efficiency, insights and decision-making across banking, investment, marketing and corporate functions. Current uses include contract management, vendor risk monitoring, foreign exchange inquiry triage and policy navigation. Deployment will be gradual, with strict controls, human oversight and eventual options for employees to create monitored custom agents.
