Senators Reintroduce E-delivery Bill

Senators have reintroduced the Improving Disclosure for Investors Act, which would require the Securities and Exchange Commission to write a rule allowing financial firms to deliver their documents in digital format. The House Financial Services Committee advanced companion legislation in late May. The bill is supported by Fidelity Investments, Charles Schwab, the Investment Company Institute and the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association.
