Raymond James Names New Indie Division Boss

Raymond James Financial has promoted Kirk Bell to president of its independent contractor division, effective April 1, filling the vacancy left by Shannon Reid, who joined Osaic Wealth in December. Bell previously oversaw 12 states with over 600 financial advisors and 265 offices of supervisory jurisdiction. He brings 26 years of experience at Raymond James. Meanwhile, interim leader David Sisemore will return to a Midwest leadership role before retiring in December. Raymond James continues to grow its independent brokerage and registered investment advisor custody divisions.
