Prosperity Life Group Taps Former Nationwide Exec To Lead Retail Push

Prosperity Life Group has created a new president of retail life and annuity role and appointed former Nationwide executive Rona Guymon to lead it. Guymon will oversee all retail distribution, marketing and product strategy as the insurer looks to gain market share amid intensifying competition for retirement and protection assets. She joins from Nationwide, where she led annuity distribution across multiple channels, and previously spent 13 years at Protective Life in senior sales and business development roles.
