Osaic Hires Chief AI and Technology Officer

Osaic has hired Sayee Bellamkonda as chief AI and technology officer, reporting to CEO Jamie Price. Bellamkonda joins from Vialto Partners and will oversee Osaic’s technology, data and AI infrastructure as the broker/dealer expands AI across its platform. His appointment replaces former CTO Ed Obuchowski and reflects Osaic’s broader effort to strengthen and scale its technology capabilities. The hiring follows several senior executive departures, including leaders in wealth management, finance, strategy and engineering. Osaic has also strengthened its financial position after its private-equity owner, Reverence Capital Partners, completed a more than $2 billion recapitalization in April, with Bain Capital becoming a new investor while Reverence retained majority ownership.
