LPL Taps Wells Fargo Vet as New Chief Technology and Information Officer

LPL Financial has hired Jonathan Lewis, a former Wells Fargo technology executive, as its new chief technology and information officer. Lewis will oversee architecture, engineering, infrastructure and development as LPL accelerates a major technology modernization effort. His appointment comes as the wealth management firm pursues nearly $2 billion in technology and AI investments over three years, including its Latitude platform, which integrates data, workflows, cybersecurity and an AI assistant for advisors.
