Female Advisors' Stress Rose in 2020: Survey

According to a survey from Northern Trust FlexShares, female advisors have been more stressed than their male peers during the pandemic. Female advisors responding to the survey said their stress level was 55.3 percent. By comparison, male advisors said their stress level was 49.6 percent. The national average is 48.9 percent. Women said they were more stressed because they had to juggle multiple responsibilities at work and at home. However, the survey found that the stress levels are moderately higher for both groups compared to results from a 2018 survey.
