Female Advisors Have Tougher Time Finding Mentors, Survey Says

A study published by the American College Center for Women in Financial Services found men and women have different perceptions of what makes them successful. According to a survey of 800 financial advisors, men attributed their success to individual skills such as hard work and individual effort while women put more of an emphasis on other factors, including their marketing team, community support and good communication with their clients. The study also found that women don't have as many mentors available to them as men do.
