Fee-based financial advice has become the dominant mode in retail wealth management over the past decade, a new report from Cerulli Associates reveals. The fee-based model's benefit of letting advisors manage portfolios at scale suggests advisors will also rely more on managed accounts to run their practices, Cerulli said.
