Citi Looks to AI To Help Bosses Write Performance Reviews

Citigroup is expanding its use of artificial intelligence (AI) to streamline operations and boost efficiency, with CEO Jane Fraser revealing that AI now performs coding tasks in minutes that once took developers more than a week. Speaking at the Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh, Fraser said Citi’s AI tools will also draft the first version of employee performance reviews, a move welcomed across the firm. Generative AI has saved an estimated 100,000 developer hours per week through automated code reviews.
