Cetera Soups Up Advisor Tech Stack With Vanilla, Income Lab Partnerships

Cetera is expanding its advisor technology stack through new partnerships with estate planning platform Vanilla and retirement income software provider Income Lab, enhancing planning capabilities for its roughly 12,000 advisors. The integrations aim to support more holistic, tax-aware planning across accumulation, retirement and legacy phases, while strengthening multigenerational client relationships. Vanilla’s tools digitize and visualize estate plans, enabling advisors to create and review wills, trusts and other documents and engage heirs earlier. Income Lab adds dynamic retirement income modeling that adapts to market conditions, tax changes and client circumstances, integrating Social Security, annuities and portfolio risks.
