Trio of Focus RIAs Merge to Create $10B Firm

Three Focus Financial-owned RIAs have merged into a single firm with close to $10 billion under management. Coastal Bridge Advisors, Waddell & Associates and One Charles Private Wealth will operate under the Coastal Bridge brand, with 252 employees across eight offices in Massachusetts, Connecticut, North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida and California. James Betzig will remain CEO, Mark Dupont will remain president and William Loftus will serve as chief revenue officer. David Waddell becomes chief investment strategist and co-chairman alongside Coastal Bridge founder Kevin Burns.
