SEC’s Peirce Pushes for More Accredited Investor Rule Changes
SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce wants SEC Chair Gary Gensler to prioritize giving greater flexibility in determining who qualifies as an accredited investor. During the agency’s recent meeting of the SEC Small Business Capital Formation Advisory Committee, Peirce said that the SEC “laid the groundwork for such an opening in our most recent accredited investor rulemaking,” passed last August. “Now we need to act on it."
