Nearly Half of U.S. Adults See Advisors as Too Expensive: Survey

Nearly half of U.S. adults think financial advisors are expensive and only for the wealthy, even though almost all who use advisors consider them worth it, according to a new survey. The survey of 1,500 adults by the personal finance website MagnifyMoney found that 30 percent of consumers have a paid financial advisors, with the most people most likely to pay advisors being those with incomes over $100,000 (55 percent), college students (41 percent) and men (35 percent).
