Anthropic, OpenAI Targets Financial Advisors, Investment Bankers

Anthropic has launched Claude for Financial Advisors, a set of AI tools designed to help financial advisors prepare for client meetings, review portfolios and manage follow-up work. The offering connects Claude with investment analytics and wealth-management software from companies including BlackRock, Charles Schwab, Addepar, Envestnet, iCapital, Orion, Wealthbox, Wealth.com and Zocks. The launch expands Anthropic’s broader push into financial services, where it has developed AI tools for investment research, portfolio analysis, financial modeling and client materials. The move comes shortly after OpenAI introduced a ChatGPT product aimed at investment bankers and equity researchers.
