Morningstar, Pitchbook To Release Suite of Private Market Fund Indexes

Morningstar and PitchBook plan to launch the U.S. Evergreen Fund Indexes in Q1 2026 to benchmark and track nontraded, semi-liquid private market funds. The indexes will cover private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure and multi-asset strategies, combining private assets with regular liquidity and periodic NAV pricing. They aim to provide transparency, consistency and comparability for unlisted vehicles like interval funds and tender offer funds.
