More Professional Designations Mean More Success for Women Advisors

Professional designations can be an effective advancement tool for women financial advisors, according to a new study from the FUSE Research Network and The American College of Financial Services. Lindsey Lewis, managing director and chair at the American College Center for Women in Financial Services, writes that the designations enable women to position themselves as "authoritative and trustworthy professionals." The study found that women with multiple designations experience improvements in referral and close rates.
