John Hancock Launches Advisor DC Offering for Smaller Companies

John Hancock Retirement has launched FutureStep, a retirement plan offering designed to make it easier for financial advisors to work with smaller retirement plans. FutureStep simplifies the process for financial advisors with small-business-owner clients to put a retirement plan in place or to help with an existing one, said Jack Barry, head of product for John Hancock Retirement. Advisors can advise on investment lineups and help put the plan in place, but the plan then can run on its own unless the advisor wants to provide further input, Barry added.
