Gen Z Is Stashing Away 14 Percent of Income for Retirement — More Than Older Generations, Study Shows

Generation Z workers are saving 14 percent of income for retirement on average, according to research from BlackRock. That compares with 12 percent for their older counterparts. At the same time, the total share of Americans who think they are on track with their retirement savings has fallen to 63 percent from 68 percent in 2021.
