FINRA To Raise Member Fees Starting in 2026

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) proposed raising annual member fees on firms with revenue of more than $1 million, in a bid to support operations through 2029. FINRA projects that the plan, which has been submitted for U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission approval, will grow revenue from all its collected fees at a compounded annualized growth rate of 5.3% between 2025 and 2029, or, excluding fees paid by parties other than its members, by 4.8%.
