FINRA Publishes Crypto Guidance Web Portal

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) released crypto-asset guidance for member firms. A newly published Crypto Assets key topics Web page aims to provide an overview of FINRA’s work in the field, including current developments at the industry watchdog, as well as podcasts and investor education articles. The page also covers notices and news releases related to crypto as well as a guidance section meant to show some of the inner workings of the teams FINRA established for its crypto asset–related regulatory work, as well as announcements about targeted exams and a reminder that any firm that plans to engage in crypto asset–related activities must seek its approval.
