Female Advisors Excel in Critical Client Service Areas

Carson Group's 2025 State of Women in Wealth Management Report highlighted specific ways in which female advisors tend to be distinct from male counterparts. One is that women advisors gauge their professional success by the level of client satisfaction with their services, not by more traditional metrics like assets under management. Carson found that in the first five years of their career, that’s their top benchmark for success, followed by their career accomplishments and their personal growth. Later in their careers, they use new measures to gauge success, such as their work-life balance and how they can contribute to their broader community. But client satisfaction still tops the list of priorities. “Regardless of where women are in their practice, the early stage or the latest stage, client service satisfaction remains number one," said Lisa Toppin, vice president of talent and market expansion at Carson. “They are much more dialed into the full experience.”
