BNY Taps Rockefeller Vet as New Global Wealth Head

BNY has appointed Brian Riley as its new global head of wealth, reporting to Jose Minaya, BNY’s global head of investments and wealth. Riley joins from Rockefeller Global Family Office, where he led the western division, overseeing advisory teams across California, Washington and Arizona. He previously spent four years at First Republic and nearly two decades at Merrill. At BNY, Riley will be responsible for shaping the vision and growth strategy of BNY Wealth, part of the bank’s $2 trillion asset and wealth management business, which holds nearly $56 trillion in assets under custody or administration.
