Asset Managers Launch Active ETFs at Record Pace

Active exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are being launched at a record pace this year. There are now more active ETFs in existence than their passive peers, though most of the assets in ETFs still track indexes. “Every asset manager and their sister is launching active ETFs and clients are looking for more active strategies,” Alastair Baillie Strong, global head of ETFs at Fidelity International, said.
