Annuity Owners More Confident About Retirement: Nationwide

Annuity owners feel far more certain they'll be able to retire on their own terms than people who don't own such instruments, all while interest in the product continues growing — in large part thanks to financial advisors, according to a survey from Nationwide. Seventy-six percent of annuity owners are confident they'll retire when they want, compared to just 49% of those without annuities, Nationwide said it found in a survey of 1,034 consumers.
