Women Underrepresented in Wealth’s C-Suites, Wirehouses

Women remain underrepresented across the wealth management industry, according to a new study by data insights platform FINTRX. Women make up 28% of the overall workforce but only about 20% of roles tied to asset management and revenue generation. Representation is even lower in core advisory positions and senior leadership. While younger cohorts show stronger female participation, much of that growth is concentrated in non-advisory roles. The study suggests a growing talent pipeline, but persistent gaps remain in advancement, tenure and access to high-revenue positions across the industry.
