Senate Appropriators Outline Smaller SEC Budget Than House
Senate appropriators are calling for a smaller increase in the SEC's operating budget than did their House counterparts but an equal level for the CFTC in legislation unveiled Tuesday. Both agencies would see an increase from the prior fiscal year. The SEC would see an operating budget for fiscal 2021 of $1.894 billion, compared with the House-passed level of $1.92 billion.
