SEC Officially Withdraws 14 Biden-era Proposals

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has formally withdrawn 14 rules proposed during the previous administration. Among the measures affected is a proposed rule that prescribed a new way of trading stocks, in hopes of getting better prices for investors. Another would have subjected cryptocurrency platforms to strict rules that govern stock exchanges. A third sought to prevent stock exchanges from discounting their fees for the broker-dealers who sent large volumes of orders.
