SEC Announces Departure of Principal Deputy Director of Enforcement Sam Waldon

U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Principal Deputy Director of Enforcement Sam Waldon will leave the agency on July 31, 2026, after more than 14 years of service. Waldon held several senior leadership roles, including acting enforcement director and chief counsel of the Division of Enforcement. Osman Nawaz, a former SEC enforcement official who recently returned to the agency, will replace Waldon.
