SEC Adds 4 Members to Investor Advisory Committee

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has appointed four new members to its Investor Advisory Committee to fill existing vacancies and broaden its expertise on investor protection issues. Three members will serve four-year terms, while the fourth, John Liu — an investor and former Accenture managing director and co-founder of Agile Partners — will represent the interests of seniors. The other new appointees include Patrick Daugherty, a partner at Foley & Lardner; Sheldon L. Ray Jr., former senior vice president and portfolio manager at Raymond James & Associates and Adriana Z. Robertson, a professor of business law at the University of Chicago Law School. The Investor Advisory Committee now has 13 members in total.
