Raymond James Names New ETF Head as It Prepares To Launch First Funds

Raymond James Investment Management has hired Johan Grahn as head of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) as the firm awaits regulatory approval for its initial ETF products. Grahn joined the firm in May 2025 and previously led ETF strategy at Allianz Investment Management, launching over 40 defined outcome ETFs. He also worked at MetLife, managing risk-focused multi-asset funds. Grahn will collaborate with Matt Johnson and Susan Walzer to develop an ETF platform, leveraging his ETF and portfolio management expertise to drive product innovation and advisor-focused solutions.
