Raymond James Launches AI Academy, Extends Advisor Tech Push

Raymond James launched an AI Academy for its advisors as part of its broader technology push. The program, tied to its Tech Savvy initiative, will provide virtual workshops on AI prompting, productivity tools, Microsoft 365 integrations and the firm’s proprietary AI systems. CEO Paul Shoukry has described AI as a way to address talent shortages and improve advisor efficiency. The firm also introduced Client 360, a platform that consolidates client data, account activity, customer relationship management interactions and alerts into one dashboard to help advisors deliver more personalized service. The move reflects a wider industry trend, with rivals such as Osaic, Franklin Templeton and Stifel expanding AI initiatives to improve productivity and client engagement.
