FINRA Creates New Regulatory Leadership Role

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) has promoted Nathaniel Stankard to the role of executive vice president and chief of staff for regulatory operations, a new post at the organization. Previously, Stankard was senior vice president and senior advisor to FINRA Chief Executive Officer Robert Cook. In his new role, Stankard will aim to improve FINRA’s regulatory operations and programs and help address industry or market changes that could have impact, coordinate integration of the organization’s regulatory programs and help address compliance issues that may arise from industry and market developments.
