Financial Advisors Aren’t Worried About AI Impacts to Industry

A recent Advisor360° survey finds that most financial advisors are unconcerned about AI replacing their jobs, with 90% skeptical that their roles will become obsolete in the next decade. Instead, advisors see AI as a tool to enhance services, citing emotional intelligence, client coaching and communication as skills that remain uniquely human. Many plan to use AI for tax planning, retirement income strategies and model creation. At the same time, advisors report growing dissatisfaction with existing firm technology, with two-thirds seeking more integrated, AI-enabled platforms that streamline compliance, improve client interactions and allow them to deliver sophisticated guidance without expanding headcount. Overall, advisors view AI as a complement to their work rather than a threat to their profession.
