Citigroup Names New CFO and Reorganizes Personal-Banking Business

Citigroup appointed Gonzalo Luchetti, its head of U.S. personal banking, as chief financial officer (CFO) beginning in March, while current CFO Mark Mason will shift to an executive vice chair and advisory role as he plans an eventual exit. The bank also reorganized its personal-banking operations, merging retail banking with wealth management under Andy Sieg, with Kate Luft leading the combined unit. Citigroup will also consolidate its branded-cards and retail-services units into a new U.S. Consumer Cards division led by Pam Habner. CEO Jane Fraser said the changes streamline leadership ahead as part of her broader turnaround strategy.
