Cerulli Finds 63% of Affluent Investors Willing to Pay for Advice

The percentage of Americans willing to pay for financial advice has increased to 63% in 2022 from just 38% in 2009, according to a Cerulli report. The survey respondents consisted of households with more than $250,000 in investible assets and households with at least $125,000 in income that are headed by adults younger than 45. The report stated, “Investors seek advisors with a service set aligned with their financial goals. Looking forward, we believe demand will be centered around personalized comprehensive advice delivered through trusted advisors.”
