Cambridge CEO Amy Webber Stays In for the Long Haul

Amy Webber’s nearly three-decade career at Cambridge Investment Research highlights the value of long-term leadership. Joining as the firm’s 22nd associate in 1998, Webber became CEO in 2016 and helped expand Cambridge to $267 billion in assets under advisement and more than 4,100 advisors. She credits the firm’s growth to independence, entrepreneurship and a people-focused culture. Under her leadership, Cambridge has pursued acquisitions, expanded advisor support and embraced AI while emphasizing responsible implementation. Webber says organic growth, succession planning and developing future leaders remain priorities. She believes her role is to strengthen Cambridge for long-term success beyond any individual leader, including herself.
