AI Leads Family Office Investment Themes

Artificial intelligence is the top investment theme for family offices globally, with 65% planning to invest in AI, according to a JPMorgan Private Bank survey, though actual allocations remain limited. Most AI exposure is concentrated in large-cap public companies, with minimal investment in venture capital, growth equity or infrastructure despite AI’s heavy demand for data centers and power. Family offices are increasingly focused on hedging geopolitical risk, favoring gold over cryptocurrencies.
