SEC Stretched Thin, Chair Tells Congressional Appropriators
The SEC is stretched thin, Chair Gary Gensler told the House Appropriations Financial Services Subcommittee Wednesday. “The SEC has not grown to meet the needs of the 2020s," he said. "As more Americans are accessing the capital markets, we need to be sure that the Commission has the resources to protect them.”
